Folks, Since being chubby is the topic here, I just have a quick question.. One of my twins(boy) is looking normal with cheeks..but my other twin(girl) looks puny and takes half the feed of my boy.. Is this something to worry about? How do I get her to drink more? Also, she tends to have posits whereas the boy does not..
Shruthi, if your child needs more, he won't sleep through the night. Thank your stars that he has learnt to feed through the day and is happy to sleep through the night. perhaps you might already know but this is worth a mention. Here on, his feeding duration might decrease. He will still be getting sufficient milk; it is just that he has become more efficient in extracting it. My dd used to feed for an hour each time (it was comfort sucking too); it used to stun me that my friends dd who was similar age would feed for 5-7 min(I'm not exaggerating; she'd go in and come right out) and be happy for the next 4 hours! Her weight gain etc was on track and she is a healthy 3 year old now.
Hi Any body please help me in answering. My daughter is underweight she is 5kg for 9month. Doctor is also trying his best . Kindly give some tips to bring her for normal weight . I am giving her on time food.
She was 2.4kg, I give her Nestrum, Wheat honey cereals, Ragi cereals and Dal cereals and formula milk and breast milk as i am working my mom takes care of her. 5 times we feed her and solid food like idly, dosa and rice. etc....
During baby's first year, formula or Breast milk should be the main source of nutrition. How many ounces does she have? Compared to solids BM/FF will have more calories. With respect to solids you can give avocado, banana, potato. Ghee/butter in vegetables or anything that she has would be good way of adding fat.
Hi ramya, Thanks for your response, I have given her ghee every day from her 3rd month with breast milk this is my granny advice me banana after six months, evern potato except avocado. This all is not working . I am giving her medicine Nutri D and benovo.
