Hi Vishnu,

Smart nappy did not work well for my LO. It leaked in just 10 mins. But, now I am using it along with some inserts and doublers which I got from US and its working good.

Regards,
P

Hi Vishnu

Please refer to links in the earlier posts for stitching prefolds. One sample link is -
Diaper Fabric Weblog Sew a Prefold from Old T-Shirts

There is no Indian website to get CDs. Other ILites may help. We initially had littlehood.com which sold Bambino Mio nappies, but they too have stopped it now. Sorry. You may try ebay global sourcing, though.

Do you mean disposables ? If so Pampers New Baby is good but even sposies need to be changed every 3-4 hours.

Aishu - I agree with Vanathi. Pampers new baby is good. One of my relatives used it for her new born and it suited the child well. Try it. I also heard that Huggies has launched one for new borns. See if it is available. You can try that as well.

Ladies - any idea on what detergent to use for my BG.

Tikka - I saw in one of your posts that u used Surf Excel liquid. Did you get it in Chennai? I don't remember seeing it in any of the supoermarkets/shops here. Where did you get it?

Regards,
P

Aishu, for very young babies if you are using disposables for the night do so with a thick layer of diaper rash creams or vaseline to act as a moisture repellant. Especially overnight is a tricky business with sensitive skin.

Can we use Vaseline before using diaper? I assume it is Vaseline gel which we get in small box not the moisturizer. Correct me if i am wrong. Currently i am using J&J nappy rash cream.
