Bcg vaccine for 6 months old baby

    @Ramya, when you said both kids tested positive I assumed it was the false positive from the BCG, sorry my bad!
    Yup, I agree, nothing is fool proof. The poor kids, I can't take antibiotics for a few days, can't imagine 9 months! The treatment is a combination of drugs, yikes. I did the research because a few yrs ago my dd got a rash on her leg that was thought to be skin TB. Thankfully, the skin biopsy came back negative for TB/leprosy and later a dermatologist in India correctly identified and treated it! It was a benign skin condition.

    @Sunshinebeauty Good that you have got ur child bcg vaccine. I am too planning to get bcg for my kid. My doc asked me to get Mantaoux test done. Did you went thru the same procedure.Can u pls give me more details about the test and the procedure.

    Waiting so much for any one to respond if any one had got the Mantaoux test.
