Dear all the moms who sent the photos,

It is a pleasant experience to see the babies. Thanks for sharing. As Devika said Raj should be appreciated for starting this thread.

Their immaculous eyes, the tiny and lovely faces brings all the cheers we need for a whole life.

As I'm writinng this, I'm having the same feeling when I saw my kid for the first time after delivery; the motherly sense which passed electric waves all over my body.

We got Riya's ears pierced today. It wasn't fun at all, she was squirmy but we did it and she cried a lot for a couple minutes but was fine after that. Because she was squirmy it didn't go exactly at the center but is a little down below. I was a little disappointed but nothing we could do.

Well, couldn't wait to share pictures with all the aunties!

And Raj you look ravishing yourself. Yeah I guess your experience with her ear piercing is something that all Mom's can relate to. But then alls well that ends well isnt it? She's looking prettier now !

Raj....she's adorable - dont worry that it wasnt exactly in the middle, she's so beautiful no one will notice! Must have been hard on you though - I know what a wreck I was through Aadhu's mottai.

Thanks Vanathi, yes I was a wreck, there was one point when I didn't want Riya to get it done when I saw the staple gun, but I knew if not now, it will be never, so I braced myself. I am so glad we did it because she was okay for a while, and she's not touching it or anything which she probably will if she's older.

Hi all mummies

Great to see the little ones. Aren't all kids cute in their own unique ways.

We also pierced Mayuri's ears on 15 March 2008 - we almost chickened out when the first jewellery shop said they didn't have the staple gun. But as we passed the next jewellers who are Soni's and in this business for years, we turned and went in. Mrs Soni said it's better done the old way with the earing having the sharpened point. Dharam coveniently had to go out to park the car closer. I was pleased that the uncle did a manthra cos I was also silently chanting!!
