| hi, dont get panic.some kids will take some extra time. anyways try to show him some vibrant colourful things which will interest him most. my daughter gets attracted towards red and yellow colour than any other colours.i think by the time he finishes 3 months, he will start this activity.there is nothing to worry as each child is different. best regards |

| hi sanravi i wont advice vaseline. remember this valuable tip DONT USE ADULT PRODUCTS ON KIDS the things we use will and might not suit the kids, especially infants. no vaseline, no ponds powder. etc. kids , especially infants skin is different. for the first three months, the skin evolves from a new born's to an environmeent adaptable one. the rashes are common. my son had rashes for first two months. it seems, the oil pores are just now evolving. so do NOT apply oil/lotion/powder to the face. it will clog the pores, and will affect the normal skin developement. i think the doc will also say this.l because my paed said the same. not to apply anything. Baby acne - BabyCenter if u r v much concerned ,u could use aquaphor. it is considered the best among infant products.

| Hi all Even though this is the group for moms with 2month, Just wanted to tell u guys that till now I am applying Eucerin+Aquaphor(I will mix these 2 b 4 applying) it does magic. She had severe eczema problem but now only when we don't apply her skin becomes little rough. But few times our ped asked us to apply 1% hydrocortisone(little bit stronger one) b 4 applying E&A. But whatever it is do consult ur ped. Just thought of sharing my experience. DSrini |
