meftal P - safe for kids?

    Hi all,

    My 15mnth old DD had loose motion for two days last week and from sunday she had high fever >102F till monday we were giving calpol til then and our doc prescriped to Meftal P 5ml twice daily. I gave her a dose yeserday morning and fever completely reduced in 2 hrs time.
    she's active ,having liquids, food.
    My questions is
    Is meftal P safe for kids?

    Please advice

    Use Meftal only when fever is >100 deg...it is safe provided you do not exceed the recommended dosage.

    i know this is a late reply...

    but just a word - trust your doctor. if you do not, ask HIM FOR your doubts. thats what they are paid for.
    we ladies here will no ways give the right opinion about medicines than a paediatrician(unless someone is a paed dr themselves) right :)???
