I used to live in Pasadena for a while. You want to live in south of Colorado Blvd. and not on the north side! Places around Arroyo pkwy/Del Mar are good, like Madison, Euclid etc. South Pasadena and Arcadia are other locations to consider if you really HAVE to live around Pasadena.
