Indian Ladies in Abu Dhabi - meet here!

Hello Everyone,

Hope all of you are doing great and enjoying the last few weeks of nice weather

I need information on maid salary here in abu dhabi - what is the going rate for a month(say 2/3 hrs, 6 days a week). Please tell me the rate excluding the taxi fare.

How are you.. Sure you can count on me anytine..

Maids would charge anywhere between 400-500 for 2-3 hrs for 6 days a weekjob.
I dont suppose they charge for taxi fare..

I have a cleaner who comes in everyday but just for an hour & I pay him 300 per month.

maids charge 10dhm per hr plus taxi fare u might hve to give 50 dms mnthly for taxi,all the maids i hve hd thts how its been .infact these days some maid charge upto 15/hr as the cost of living has increase.i hve a maid who comes for 2 n half for 3 days a week n i pay him 360 dhms n he does all the cleaning washes dishes,cleanes itchen totally,vaccum,ironing,washing toilets,cleaning ktchen cabins ,microwave,fridge n all tht furnitures etc earlier for 3 hrs for 3 days a week i was paying the sme,bt nw since the cost of the necessaties hve increases nobdy willing to work for tht amt .

hey ladies
at muhairy centre they have gym-la rosa,they also teach aerobics there.For 12 days(ie 3 days a week) a mnth its 300 ,u cn either opt for gym or aerobics,n for 24 days i guess its 500/mnth.i was wanting to join for aerobics,anybody interested do write in,coz i badly want a company.

aerobics classes are at 10 in the morning if u wana use gym its starts 9 i guess.

n ladies one mre thing ,at lifeline health n fitness centre they hve n offer were u can just call n register n avail 3 days of free gym n also some hours of yoga n aerobics classes also i guess,its at the electra salam intersection anybdy inetrested 2 join there can go and try out,they have different section for ladies.
i had called up there once,so they hd my number ,n invited me 2 try out their gym as the offer is going n even said tell anybody intersted,so basically all cn go n try out i guess.

Thanks to your both! Looks like my maid is asking a bit too much!! She lives just in next building - so no taxy fare but still she asked me 900 AED for 3 hours 6 days a week!! She is saying now a days thats the rate
She is good otherwise - normally spends more than 3 hrs, its been a week she's coming now. She is doing all cleaning, vacuum sometimes, vegetable cutting, ironing etc. Basically whatever i ask in those 3 hrs, but i was thinking 900 is a little too much. What do u say?

Bsic things are getting really expensive here :O((

accaording to the amount we pay it is a bit too much,but these days all the maids ask 15/hr in tht way u cn say she is cheap,plus she helps u with little cutting n chopping also,all the maids who cme here for tht u hve 2 pay mre,in my area evrythin is expensive actually.

but u brgain n atleast mke it 800,tht wud be fine or 850 last,hihihi
n let me tell its a lil difficult 2 get maid these days after all the people left with imprper sponsership,visa etc,it ws very strict chekin na sme mnths back so if she isa gud dnt let her go,hihi

hmm... I will try to bargain then... i know its been difficult to get a maid here and anyone I ask will first say that we charge the westners 25 dhms/hr and indians we charge 15dhms/her - how wierd is that
anyway, lets see, good thing is she is not very particular about time and looks sincere - although work is ok ok.. not all that great.. thats why i felt 900 is a bit too much for that type of work
