good pediatrician in dubai

hi,
i have a 6 mth old kid.can anyone suggest a good pediatrician?i am now consulting dr.kalpana from new medical centre.

where are you located in dubai ?

I usually consult Dr. Sangeeta Rajkumar and Dr. Menon in Unicare which is located in Burjuman centre.

I you are near Mussalla towers then there is a good paed in Mussalla medical centre , Dr. Manoj Chandran.

I am sure you will get more information from our IL friends.

I used to go to Dr Saju John in Apollo polyclinic Karama centre. He is very good.

Hi Ramya,

Joseph clinic in karama is gud as far as i know... its near sunrise supermarket.

Al Rafa clinic is also gud!

when u r visiting dr kalpana in nmc why dont u go for mehboob ali he is the best paed in nmc,he has long yrs experiance.try him.

Dear Ramya

I would suggest DR Vishwanathan

,Modern child Speciality clinic , karama .Opposite to Sri krishna sweets (near Moulin d'or bakery) .He is a very reputed pediatrician and you will feel totally at ease . Iam no more n dubai , and one thing i miss abt dubai is my pedi.

hi,
i consulted dr.bhavani from union medical centre near pizza inn opp karama iranian school.he has infection but the doctor didnt give any antibiotic .just cetzine and tylenol if fever.just slight fever .i am really worried

hi ramya -- My experience here is that doctors do not prescribe antibiotic immediately .

Check on LO's fever from time to time .As you said he has slight fever if it is not increasing then there is no concern .

Do not worry , everything would be fine.

Yes Ramya, I think Priti is right. Its good that they are not giving antibiotics unless absolutely necessary. Antibiotics are not very good for us. For viral infections antibiotics have no effect. So doctors usually check if the infections is bacterial and then prescribe antibiotics. I have been to Dr. Bhavani and she is good. Don't worry and trust your doctor.
