Venues for Parties in UAE

hi friends,
i wud like o know if ne1 of u knows a place where i can host my baby's 1st birthday.i dont want it in burger king,kfc,or pizza hut.i want it 2b smthg different smthg new smthg very special.all those of u who r there in dubai since many yrs please help me.also let me know abt decoration doers,party organisers etc.it wil b a gr8 help 4rm ur side to let me know at ne of d abv.

Gopals Restaurant in bur dubai opposite imperial suites rola street , should be a nice option . ITs a vegetarian restaurant , per head should be around 25-30 dhs.

my friend did her baby's bday party at sangethha veg restaurant in bur dubai..also most of the ppl do it in Mc Donalds....it doesnt cost veyr much and also the main thing is tht they organise the games for the children and also there is a playarea for children...so thinking frm the children point of vew it wud b a gud option....the MC D on the trade centre road is quite gud.

Dear Zeenat,
There is an outlet near Welcare hospital specialising in party decorations. Take a look and see if it suits your budget. Personally I prefer Choithram Supermarket.
Regarding food, we have organised parties in Royal Garden/Bikarewala/ Chappan Bhog (all in and around Karama). If you are looking for Veg/ Non-veg, then you may try Khyber in Bur Dubai.

I would like to suggest some places. If you need some play area and and fast food Fun city in IBN BATUTA MALL IS A GOOD CHOICE. If you are particular about the food[south indian] COCONUT GROOVE in RITZ PLAZA WOULD BE FINE.Ice rink in Hyatt also have some arrangements. All these places were quite different from the usual ones. Hope you will like it.

thanks for all ur support and suggestions for my baby's birthday.well finally the day had come my first born AZMEENA'S 1st Birthday.its on 13th june.v r celebrating on 14th jun in FOODLANDS.it really took me time and patience to do all the preparations.i pray all goes well.

Wishing Azmeena a very happy B'day and many many more happy returns of the returns. I happened to see your post late . By the way , I'm mallika from Doha. We were in Dubai for 9 years and all the years in Karama . we moved here nearly a year back. and we're missing it so so much . Especially all my loving friends from Karama. I've 2 children . My son's first b'day was in Coconut Grove . It was great . We've celebrated 2 of their b'days at Marry Brown , Karama They were doing some renovation . You can think of that option next time . They're quite good . Infact we can take 2 dishes from our side other than what they give us there . and we used to order it from Royal Garden . We can even cook and take them from home. The option is ours . So the children and adults enjoyed the whole thing . But their return toys are not that great so we used to get them ourselves n make the kids happy . It used to be fun.

So keep in touch and have a great day on 13th and 14th.

Hi ladies,
i'm a newbie to this site. I want to celebrate my daughter's 1st b.day preferably in sharjah or ghusais or some where close to ghusais as all our folks are from sharjah. Can anyone suggest a good non veg restaurant with a good party hall and with some activities for kids as well. I'm not interested in KFC or MCd as majority are adults and they wuldnt enjoy it and same with my lil girl as she's just 1 yr old.
