Lobo Tailors in Bur Dubai are good. Though they primarily cater to men, they do have a ladies tailor also. i m not sure about indian outfits bec last time i went to them they said that they have stopped it. but do call them. its near parthas in meena bazaar. i personally stitched salwar kameez from them and they are good

Hi,

Thanks! I'll try calling them. I've just got off the phone with a friend whose colleague suggested Dream Tailors in Bur Dubai. Will try both.

Thanks so much.

Hi Sujata,

Hope you are doing well. Wow! 15 years in Dubai is so long! Are your children studying here?
I am from Chittoor and have been living in the UAE since 2002. I am married but do not have kids yet and I stay near to Century Mall (around Ghusais).

I had posted a reply earlier, but since I had mentioned my email ID, I am guessing the post would have been deleted.

Please keep in touch.

Hi Sujatha,

Great to see your reply. Thanks for letting me know of the regulations regarding 50 posts. I guess till the time I touch 50 posts, we'll have to keep in touch this way.

Good to hear about your sons. Your second son's studies must be a handful, huh? What are their names?

I am trying to find someone to teach me embroidery and fabric painting. I've identified Sumitha on IL, but she's on a holiday right now. I'll keep you posted on whats happening with that.

I work from 8am to 5:30 pm. It takes me around 20 min to drive to and back from work. I enjoy cooking and make it a point to cook evening meals almost every day.

Perhaps we can discover a common activity/hobby. What do you do with your time?

Hello Sunita Ma'am

There are quite a few good tailors in Dubai.
1. Dream Girl Tailors are the best ... but they charge a wholesome amount as well! May burn a hole in our pockets sometimes! They have outlets at Bur Dubai and Karama.
2. If you want the designer high end tailors, there is Rinco Tailors in Meena Bazar area in Bur Dubai. They also charge a ransome!
3. Match Fit Tailors in Karama (Behind Pizza Inn) does a good job ... charges are also moderate.
4. Canara Tailors in Karama is where I give all my stuff .... but he takes a lot of time ... charges are also nominal ... so if you are ready to wait, he is good!

But, I'm not sure if Match Fit and Canara do western outfits; Rinco does a good job with those ...
