Thanks for the lovely long reply . You know sometime back i had replied to one of your queries and was wondering why no reply now iget it you must have been travelling. Enjoy this time because once regular school starts then you are stuck to school times and routines.
So sad u will not make it on the 16th. Try if you can it will still be fun you know the location.we will look forward to meeting u next time.
naif area has some great needlework shops i am going to try and make it there one day as i heard that you get all things in wholesale price. Give your self a bit more time running after a two yr old takes most of the time . I finally am getting time now that Ilina goes to school. So i do get to the mornings free.
The cooking and shopping i finish then (spinneys is close by). I sometimes go and do yoga with a friend in the same building but for the last few days we have been missing it. Then ofcouse there is IL and calling up friends and catching up with them. I am now starting to look at all my unfinished needlework that was put on hold three yrs ago when ilina was born.
By 2pm she is back and then its hungama time . Time flies then. Whats your daughter's name?
Do keep posting that way even though we have not met you we keep getting to know you and you will be in touch with all thats happening here. I am really so excited about the meet and can't stop talking about it .

Thank u so much too for such a fast reply.I am on the net whenever i get time from Avni (That's my daughter's name.....u must have guessed it).

U said u replied to one of my queries,but i did not revert back.Maybe i was not here.Otherwise maybe i did not logged into this lovely forum.Actually if u see my post it is just 2 days since i have got the IL addiction and just hoping it continues.I am really enjoying this site .You ask for any information,u get it with 24 hrs.

Ilina !!!! Nice name.What does it mean ? Which school is she going? .Was getting admission difficult..She must be in LKG..Do LKG children have classes till 1 or 2 p:m.Is it not hectic for small children.By the time there are home,they will be sleepy and will not have their lunch.Actually Avni test my patience when she gets home , even though i make her sleep around 10pm and wake her up around 7 am.

Where are you based in India? How to do find Dubai? Are you here from a long time ? I am here since 2003 for namesake.I keep shuttling between mumbai and dubai.When i conceived, I immediately went back to mumbai for some personal reasons and only came back in May 2007.

Preethi,can u suggest some good Indian Gynaec in Bur Dubai,Karama or Deira.

And please do write about the meet and what all u did ?

Hi, replying to you right away as tomorrow i won't be in most of the day. Going to Ilina's school for a mother's day function. Ilina is a sanskrit name meaning possessor of high intelligence. Thanks to Maneka Gandhi's book of baby names. She goes to Modern high school.
Avni is such a beautiful name too i have not heard it before its sooo unique. What's the meaning?
Actually it took me a while to to get a hang of the way IL works but now as you can see its addictive and postitively so.
Actually most schools start at 8am and kids leave home at 7am. This year the new school is delayed and so they had to accomodate all the kids into the same school. They have two sessions KG 2 at 8am and KG 1 at 1030am so Ilina leaves at 930. Its good as i was quite worried how she would have managed with bfast etc. i think from sept it will be 7am but atleast she will be 3.5yrs and seasoned into the school routine.

Avni will settle down it takes time. Sometimes its best to let her sleep and then get up and eat. Some days used to be like that for Ilina and after a while she got used to it. Enjoy all the breaks you get going to india till regular school begins.

I was born in Bangalore and now my parents have retired and settled down in Hyderabad. So now Hyderabad is base.I have been here from1996 and till last year used to take long breaks to India too.

Ilina had an interview and then we had to wait till the selection list came up. This year it was online registrations so you just decide which school and go and do the online registration. Happy home gives forms out for most gems schools. Just let the principal know that you would like to know when the admissions open.
Two good gynacs from my own personal experience (the ones i go to) one is Dr.Champa Bhatia at Health Clinic in Burdubai (nest to astoria hotel) Tel # 04 9596766 and the other is Dr.Saleena at Rafa Hospital 043988799 (she also delivers the babies herself and is a really good gynac) on Kuwait Road opposite sylvia's house.

Will write and post pics about the meet ,but you need to reach your half century to be able to view them so keep busy posting . We look forward to meeting you and your lovely family at the next meet.

Glad to see you again yes really the week has finally got off to a start . Meeting you was great too. I accidently replied to someone else this morning with a very similar user name Hahaha) thinking it was you. aniruv don't ask how i thought it was you!!!!.
Ilina remembers Swayam so much and she keeps talking about him. It was great fun on friday and i am looking forward to more meets. Do let me know when you come to burdubai we can meet up too.
Yes its amazing now how easily we can talk to each other now that we have met. Sylvia will pass on the numbers and i will call you.
How is Swayam? gone to school today - i am sure back by now . Give him a big hug too

See i am getting old again i confused with Swayam and Avni (babita's daughter) about going to school . Happy kids is a great nursery -Ilina went to the satwa branch new dubai nursery. I put ilina at 21/2 years and she was there till march and then went to school in april. Its a good nursery and prepares the kids for school and they really look after the kids too . Plus they give out info for admissions for all gems schools so that too is an advantage.
Talk to Swayam in English too that way he will be able to adjust to nursery faster as communication will not be a problem.
Ilina is home now so i told her i am typing to you. She is remembering the t.t bat and ball she was playing with .
Going now to give her lunch -she wants to know whats a speaker ....
