 Belly Dance (raqs sharqi) in Dubai Hello Everyone, Many of you are staying in Dubai from last many years. Have you ever attended Belly Dance which is known as Raqs Sharqi in Arabic. Have you ever seen? Does any one of you know the significance of this dance in Middle East Culture???? Why is it so significant in marriages? whats the connection (beliefs and traditions) between belly dance and marriage of a girl?? What role does girl play in this dance???? Want to know more about Belly Dance in Middle East (specifically in Dubai). Let me know the details if anyone knows more about the dance. Awaiting reply :))))) Mrudula:)      |
