Default Cost of travel to Dubai

Hi all,
I'm interested to visit dubai not in near future but maybe in a year.
I was wondering what the cost of hotels will be, like reasonable ones not 5 star.
any idea?
Having spent 4 yrs of my childhood there I really want to see the place and i hear its changed a lot.
when is the best time to travel, coz I can't stand too much heat.

thankx in advance

Hi

The best times to travel would be November to March. The shopping festival usually happens around dec/ jan or jan/feb. There are a lot of hotel appartments that are cheaper than the hotels. will check and get back to you on the cost. Till then just google dubai sightseeing and make up you travel plans.

Dear Saheli,
Dubai has a wide range of hotels (economy, luxury, service apartments). The rates vary quite significantly depending on any events happening in Dubai. You can work an an off-peak average around 350-400 Dhs.(Bed & breakfast). During Shopping festival, the rates will be very very high. Service aprtments may be an economical choice.
Please let us know if you have any questions, once you are chalking out your plans.

Regards
USHA
