Indians in Bur Dubai!! - what can we do to make better use of our time?

Hello Ladies,

You will all agree with me if I say that life in Dubai can get lonely and depressing if you dont engage yourself productively.

To make our jobs easier, may I request the ladies in Bur Dubai area to get intouch with eachother to discuss what we can do about making better use of our time.

I live in Bur Dubai, somewhere close to Baqer Mohebi. I am married and have a son who goes to UKG in Our Own English High School.

Ofcourse, we will have it on a day that is convenient for all of us..

I am not sure I can send a PM.. well, anyways, we will all independently try and gather as many ILites as possible and then fix up a meeting sometime first week of May.

So, tell me about yourself.. where do you work? how many kids? how old are your kids? where do you stay?

about me.. i am a housewife. My husband works in ENOC. We have a 5 year old son who studies in Our Own English High School.

I am very excited about the plan for the IL meet. I am sure our friends will be very happy to wait for Sowmi to arrive.
As for myself, I am a Chartered Accountant heaing the Finance Divion for a Tobacco Compnay. MY DH is also CA, heading three companies in Jebel Ali. My daughter, Swetha, is also an IL'ite and a budding CA. My son is 13 years and studying in Grade 9 in the Indian High School.

Hi all, I am kalyani. I also reside in Bur Dubai. I have 2 kids.

My daughter is 5 years and my son is 3 years. I am a working mother.

I would love to get in touch with other ladies in the same locality...sure this will give all of us a good chance to share our thoughts and ideas and also get information on different options likes kids extra curricular classes etc.

So always count me into this gathering..but I would need atleast one day prior intomation as with 2 small kids I will have to make lots of arrangements before I get out of the house.
