Hey Ramya, I live opposite Alrafa Maternity Hosp and I like the area very much.. Its very calm and quiet.. loads of empty space around and so we get good breeze.. FYI.. there are many tolet boards hanging in apts behind Al Rafa Hosp, you can check that area.. its a very nice residential area..

sorry for late reply i lost this thread. just got now! ya seen many flats. but no shops there na.. thats what i was thinking even for small things we need to come to rolla st i believe! let me knw details please. we have to shift by month end! yet to finalise by 20th!

Hey Ramya,

Good luck on your house hunt.. the area behind AlRafa Maternity Hosp isnt too interior.. Madina Supermarket delivers there and there is another new Supermarket named Maxim which is in the main road, also delivers..

There are soo many options in BurDubai.. it all depends on what facilities you need and how much rent you are willing to pay.. Let me know if you require any help!

thanks for your immediate reply! our requirements is nothing sp we just need car parking. but we are looking around Karama, Lamcy, also.. as everywhere the rents are same. but we have to book immediately. thats why we are waiting till 20th. lets c where our destiny is...

Hi Sylvia,

karama, burdubai, mankhool,lamcy.. everywhere 1brh is same ranging 60-65k. but again differs with the facility they are giving like s/wpool, gym etc. if its little big its around 72k. so too many choices now!

Hey Ramya, I started this thread with the intention of forming a group in BurDubai and it was a huge success.. we had 2 IL family meet-ups and then smaller meets and now we have a good circle of friends going.. since there are members in our group from other parts of Dubai also, we stopped using this thread and have started more generic threads.. and hence the silence in this thread..

And, thank you for posting the UAE National Anthem.. I shall go and check it out right away!
