I've been in Dubai for 9 yrs and both my kids literally grew up there . I used to take them to Apollo Medical centre in Karama centre . Dr. Saju John . He's good . He doesn't givve antibiotics so easily . But it'll be crowded . You must be prepared to wait . The ideal time would be early evening - around 4.45 p.m. Check out the Ramadan timing and visit accordingly . I think the number is 3379040 . For nose block , Try giving her steam inhalation- you can keep KAZ steam facial( available in LULU) at home . It really helps and you can use nasal spray (ocean nasal spray) .

Hi Dubai ILites,

Thanks to all of you for suggesting various doctors and clinics.

This morning we both were very serious(for me - cold, sore throat,head ache and for my daughter - eye swollen, running nose, cough, vomitting, ear pain)and finally my hubby took permission and took us to Moopens clinic in Naif road. So we met Mr. Moopen for her eyes. He suggested to put cold pack for her eyes and gave some drops. He advised her not to play in laptop and should play in big computer screen.Then ENT specialist Mr Hemjith, has given antibiotics, another cough syrup for both of us and has advised me to stop talking as my vocal cords also has viral infection.

Inspite of having medical insurance, we paid Dhs 75 for consulting Opthomologist and ENT(for me and her) and the medcines we got it from Faith pharmacy opposite to the clinic and this pharmacy accepts almost all insurance cards.

The Paediatrician comes only after 12.30. So we couldnt wait for the paediatrician.

I am new to the gropu just joined yesterday.

But regarding doctor, there is a very good Homeopathic doctor at Charly's Polyclininc above Sana Fashions in Karama. For long trerm homeopathic treatment is good as in this part of the world every second day there is some or the other health problems.

Also there is doctor for children in Karama Medical Showroom above Sony Showroom in Karama Dr.Avantikabai. She is also very good.

Thanks for your response.I am going to Dr.Pankaj.I have checked with many and understand he is the best in U.A.E.Only problem is the dates.You have to take a prior appointment.You will get a date only after 2 months.The Doctor is always booked with a busy schedule.The Rates are same as DGFC.
