Indians in Newcastle

Hello there

I would be moving with my family to Newcastle in a couple of months. Any advice in terms of finding a house to rent (areas). also in terms of socialising, what can be done?

Hi
First you will have to mention where you or your hubby will be working. Then you can also go on this website yo search for houses....UK's number one property website for properties for sale and to rent .
Although I don't stay in Newcastle now but I use to stay about 2 years back so kind of have a little idea.

Many thanks for your reply. I was almost loosing hope that nobody wants to be friends with me!

I live in Gateshead in Windynook Road near Queen Elizabeth Hospital with my husband and 3 year old son. I work in NHS. Would like to meet up!

It's lovely to meet a friend here..In fact I have a friend thru this site and are good frens now!!Now u could also join us!!! It would be fab!!!

I am in Woodbine Street (somewhere near to the Metro In Interchange)..And been in Newcastle for about a year and in the UK about 2 years!! And I sail from Malaysia (of course Indian ethnicity) and my hubby is an Indian...

Yeah meeting up is a good idea!! DO let me know when u would like to meet up..

Even i have not checking this site as often as before...but will do after this to check ur reply!!!

As I am working, Saturday or Sunday is the best options for me. Would love to meet up with your other friend too. I guess this site doesnot allow any contact details to be exchanged, but do let me know when and where you guys are meeting up and I will join you. Hope it will be somewhere accessible by bus as I dont drive!
