Details about HSMP...

Hello friends,

My husband wants to move to UK and wants to get a job there. We both are in IT fields and he wants both of us to work there. And he is planning to get HSMP visa....

Please help me in the knowing about few things...

1) how should we prepare ourselves for HSMP?
2) how is the market at UK now? Can we get jobs now?
3) how should we apply for the Visas? through consultants? If so, then anybody have any idea about that?

Please help me in the above things.. Any information you know will be helpful for me now...

2) The market in UK is not as good as it used to be but I know of some people who came down last month with Tier 1 vias and were able to procure jobs.To be frank, there is not much recruitment going on so it might take some time to get a job in the current market scenario.

3) You can apply on your own or via consultants.I believe in India consultants charge a hefty fees.If your documentation is right then I would advise you can apply on your own as I know quite a few people who had no issues in getting Tier 1 who applied on their own.

Please try this website for all your questions. My husband and I came to the UK in 2007 on HSMP visa. We applied ourselves without any agency help. This forum has very experienced members who'll answer any question you have about the process.
