Question Re: Indian ladies in Berkshire, UK

Hi Preity and Archana,
I have been closely following your discussions on Life in General in Reading. My hubby,my son and i stay in Zurich,Switzerland currently. We have an option of coming to Reading during March/April 2009 . My hubby would be going to work in Kings Road. I would like to know which are the places for families with kids to live in(with more Indian population)South Reading/North/East/West?,the rental for 2/3 bedroom apartments, unfurnished or furnished,Schooling for 6 year old, shopping centres etc etc.

Zurich is a lovely place ,but we would likely get an offer to come to Reading.

Please suggest me ways to make the transition easier and smoother for us especially for my son.

Many thanks,
Lalitha

Hi Ladies,

I'm from Bracknell Berkshire.

I hope your all enjoying the UK. However I'm very new to Bracknell having just moved from London.

If any one would like some tips on how to find jobs I'd be really happy to help you even if you need help with your CV's I'm happy to give you some points to go by etc etc..

Eli

Thumbs up Re: Indian ladies in Berkshire, UK

Hi Lalitha

Im extremely sorry for being able to revert to your post. Been very a while with office and home until recently. I find reading a good and safe place to live. I stay very close to reading west station. However it is very hard to determine which area is populated with Indians. Quite often I see Indians around my place but seldom get a chance to talk to anyone.
Anyway, by the time you read my post you must've already moved to reading.
Let me know if you've. Good luck.

Cheers!
Archana
