What can i buy from U.K to India?

hi friends,

We came to U.K on a project for 1 year n now we r returning to india.
I have a baby of 2year 2 month old.So can any one suggest me what i can buy from here to India for my baby n also plz suggest me some gifts that i can take for my cousins,in-laws n parents.r there any kitchen items that r better to buy here than india.

plz reply me soon as we had to move this month end.

hey i 've recently been 2 india.I buyied gifts for all my relatives, i can tell u what they like and dont. look! christmas is near.U can see sale all over the market. there is nothing which u cant buy in india but there is quality difference.buy some mobile fone FROM argos u can find some at less than half price.they have very good quality then in indian fone and will be cheap.some jackets.and toys,electronic learning toys,like kids laptop. For your baby buy some socks, jackets,body vest.nappy wipes. Donot buy any pen,bcoz they never expect how much it cost.pens are very cheap in india and can buy any type of pen anywhere.same for watches.suppose you buy a watch, as i think we try to buy the best thing for our loved ones. so we'll loook 4 big brand watches like citizen, casio.if u find any citizen watch from half price it would be cost upto £100. can u believe do u ever give a gift to someone in india worth rupees 8500.so they even cant expect that it's cost would be 8500. for girls buy makeup kits, jewellery box.dont bring any shampoo, cream,lipstick for gifts bcoz they are selling across every end of road. For ladies you could buy purses. Kitchen items - tongs and knives are quite nice here.

Since there are Christmas sales going on, you can get manicure sets for younger cousins, gardening tools for older relatives. For children, I think the cord trousers are unique. For men, you get multi tools and swiss knives which are popular.

as our friends had said the christma sale is now on. so u can buy a lot of stuff for half the price. check out in argos,BHS, woolworths. these places have good sale items.
u can get good handbags(BHS has a good collection) branded perfume (perfume store or superdrug) toys (argos) eyebrow trimmer(JML brand in boots) pedicure sets. u can try perfumed candles too as a gift.
u get good kitchen knive sets,spice racks,blender..
for ur baby :there will be a good sale on 27th dec in NEXT. u get 1/2 price clothing& it is very good.
last but not least get choclates cos everyone in india loves them.
