    Dear All,
I remembering reading/hearing from someone that groceries can be brought for cheaper rates in germany - i mean ppl from switz try to get most of the groceries from germany...
Is it so - if yes, where do u get ur groceries from in germany?
How do u commute - are ppl with swiz visas allowed to enter germany w/o german visa?

    Thanks...

    Hi Mia,

I remember my friend who lived in Basel shopped her regular stuff from Freiburg. They also got tax refund. they drove every week-end. As for visa now Switzerland is also part of the schengen countries so you don't need visa to enter Germany and vise-versa.
