Indians in Virginia, VA - Introduce yourself here!!

Since you live in the vicinity of the DC area, that would be appropriate but not for our posts.

Because, if you take me and kaumed, we are not in Northern Virginia, but Central VA that comes directly under the thread for Virginians.

So moving all the posts to the DC area will not work out, since it does not strike people like us from other parts of Virginia to post there.

My request to the Moderators will be to move just the posts that come under Washington DC area and the rest of the posts can stay here. This way, it is much easier to locate for people from Central and Southern parts of VA.

In this same thread, nicku is also from Richmond...again this does not come under DC area...so this post also will be relevant under this thread for Indians in Virginia.

It took me a long time to even realise there were people living in Virginia, since it did not occur to me to check under the DC thread...which seems to include only Indians living in DC area and Northern Virginia.

Hopefully, this thread can be left open for Indians exclusively from Virginia.

I agree with you Krithika, Only now i realise there are messages from people in souther and central virginia in this post...Now that I see all these i dont want the entire post to be moved to that sub forum, but I request iLites from Northern VA to post their messages in the relevant forum, we already have a subforum for iLites in that region but still remains dormant, bcoz i find many are confused with where to post...

In order for people from Northern VA to post under the DC thread, then the name of the thread may need to modified to make them even notice that.

It can probably be "Indians in DC area & Northern VA

I am not even sure whether all the cities of Northern VA come under the DC area....!

Anyway...my request will be to leave this thread open for people like us..that way we can also easily connect and discuss about issues that are relevant here.
