Hey Suja

Thanks for the link. I saw about it in the news 2 days ago and has been wanting to know the full details.

Any ILites have kids joined there?

Thanks for the info. From the website, it is seen that the fees is very less compared to the other 3 Indian schools. It is 395S$ and only 3 terms. This works out v.less. Parents of this new school students, pls share some info abt the school.

Dear SingILites

I read in the website that the school does not have approval from CBSE board for classes 1-5. (They put they have approval only for Class VI onwards)
I wanted to highlight and also ask you all that have I misinterpreted them or am I correct in my understanding? How can they start a CBSE school without approval from the board? In Singapore , it seems that they have approval for until class V from MOE. I am . Somebody help. The fees looks less with no deposit etc but be cautious about the approval part though!

My 2 cents!

Yes Suja

I guess they want to use the popularity that the name got in Namakkal areas in TamilNadu and target Tamil NRIs. I also happened to watch the interview with the Principal. She looked too young for the post and looked like a fresher.

We all have to wait and see how the school runs.

About starting the term, did you notice that in their website, they have put Admission starts from VijayaDhasami (looks too sentimental) hahaha!

Hi ladies,

I'm here after a long time..hope you are all doing well. I was so relaxed about school admission for my 3yr old daughter as she has a regi seat in Canossian Convent Kindergarten in Jurong Kechil for the morning batch!! But this discussion has got me interested in this school and some of my friends are also anticipating to admit their child for the montessori training.

Now, my questions are..

1) I dont get to see anywhere in their site how long this school has been here in s'pore? Just started in April?

2) The quality of teachers..a friend of mine who had been to school on vijayadasmi said that most of the teachers are on EP from India!

3) If I get admission for my daughter, she will go to Jr. KG in April next yr?

Is it advisable to put her in that school which has just started? I am

Thanks
Poornima.

Hi Poorni

Long time no see. Wow little one has so grown up that she is starting school now! How time flies!

No idea yet about the queries you have asked. I will ask around among my friends.
