Been to Bali very recently-beginning august. Beautiful place. we stayed at Inna Kuta resort, the advantage is you have a beach right in your backyard. This is the ideal time to go in terms of the weather. Some of the sights that Bali offers are really breathtaking. If you are interested in culture/traditions/arts of a place, then Bali will surely not disappoint you. In all worth planning!! enjoy!

HI ,anyways, the kuta beach ..is that where the bombing took place ? I am also thinking of bringing my kids but is there a place which is suitable ,as in just near the shopping areas ?

Its a lovely place, no problem now.Yes Kuta beach was the bombing place- hard rock cafe. Don't worry now every thing is fine.

Inna Kuta beach resort and Hard Rock Hotel r very in the heart of the shopping areas as well as very close to the beach. things are peaceful now. You might like to cover Ubud for the culture, Tanah Lot for the scenic Sunset, and Kintamani for the view of the active volcano.
