Hi Uthra,
We are looking to change our house in Singapore. I understand this house is already taken but will appreciate getting your feedback about JTC houses. Are they furnished? How is their quality? Will appreciate your feedback. Thanks.

hi,

the advantages:

1.there are no brokers in between ---so there is no brokerage charges (which is generally one months rental ) , and with a number of cases of being duped by some brokers you are safe.

2.u can always get out of the deal with jtc with a one months notice

3.the prices are generally cheaper

4. generally located at easily accessible places

disadvantages

1. the house is unfurnished.

2.jtc has specifications about how many people can be accommodated in a house

3. the available houses gets updated online in their site everyday and it gets swooped almost the same day.

hope it helps
regards
uthra

Thanks for the info Uthra. One more query, does "unfurnished" mean no built-in wardrobes and kitchen cabinets too? Is cooking hub i.e., stove provided?

Regards,
Keerti

hi,
yes there is no built in wardrobe or kitchen cabinets provided.
if you are lucky previous occupants may have left kitchen cabinets intact ( which is most often true in many jtc houses that i have seen ) but we were unlucky
wardrobes---- you have to buy.
no stoves are provided ------but then they do not cost much.

regards
