I live in eastern part of the island nearer to airport with my hubby and son. Still feel home sick after being here for 7 years and really thank the cheap calling cards which help me to chat with my family in India everyday.
Visit Shiva Durga temple weekly and libraries thrice weekly. Been to the libraries all over S'pore and AngMoKio branch is my fav because of the specialised Tamil section.

S'poreans, do join the IL NOW and it is a better choice than our boring Sun TV serials and repeated Vijay TV programs. We can network and flock together locally (although we are already closely knit word wide community-as Sridhar Sir puts it)

I am a Singaporean who has bn living out of Singapore for the past 20 years. My father worked for the R.A.F. and we used to live in Changi and Seletar. Since then my parents hv moved on to UK and settled there. I hv bn married and moved to the Middle East with my husband. He worked for Citibank while i was with Omanair. Now we are settled in Chennai. I would love to make some friends in Singapore who has family here. I could also help from here if anybody wants any help. Now we are in Adyar after returning from Muscat.

I too live in the east but soon moving to the northeast.
I was a working mom until last month with a 5 year old son(Abhishek). He will be going to K-2 next year. How about your girl.What is her name?
