| hi, i'm a new member of the indusladies. although i'm a chinese, but i've been amaze and curious about the indian culture. i love to learn more about your culture. personally, i feel that the indians has the nicest hair and features. not only that, i love your traditional costumes too. and recently, i've been reading up a lot on ayurvedic. i'm really interested in finding out more about the different cultures and lifestyle. one thing i love about singapore is the diversity of the races. i get to learn a lot from the different races and this has benefit me greatly in terms of maturity and knowledge. nice to meet you all. I'm a 18, female, chinese, currently studying in republic polytechnic and i live in hougang. |

| Hi Uthra, You can purchase the kolu bommais at "Gokulam" (Opp. Jyothi flower shop) in Little India. There is also a shop on Buffalo Road , again Little India which sells kolu bommais. The dolls at Gokulam are very pretty and they have a variery of sets like what we can find in Chennai. Jyoti also sells bommais and kolu padis...but I feel Gokulam is a better choice. I myself picked up a few sets at Gokulam.Good Luck- Deepa. |
