Full time house maids- Details Needed

Dear Sing Ilites,

I am lookin for a full time maid (Indian/Srilankan/Indonesian who can cook) for a period of 2 or 3 months.

Please help me if you or your friends have any maids for transfer or your agents' contact number. This is a timely help. thanks a lot.

It isa wise decision to engage a maid to take care of your kids rather than juggling between infant care centre/childcare centre and home.

I have had Indian/srilankan as well as Indonesian maids and at present with an Indian maid. Each of them have their own pros and cons. So choose carefully to match your needs and comfort.
Regarding the agents...there is no good or bad. Agents are agents and it depends on your rapport with your maid that will ensure your peace of mind at workplace.

Please go thru the STclassifieds and talk to different agencies. Ask your colleagues about reliable agents. Keep your options open. Try Indonesian maids too. They are fast learners and in no time will cook Indian food.

You can contact ECK at Orchard Plaza. They have Sri Lankan maids, though you might have to fork out agency fees and also they will take money from the maids. Had found their service quite satisfactory. Maids avg pay - $300-400 depending on experience.

Hii all I will be opening my very own housemaid agency dealing in part time and full time domestic maids.
Currently I am looking to get in Punjabi,Nepali as well as South Indian maids. Is there any IL member who has contacts that I can call ?
