Hi all, I am coming to singapore from India for a week long holiday. What kind of clothes should I pack? Normally, I wear sarees here because of my job. Salwars, jeans, kurtis all that stuff too. But I don't want to wear things which might make me stick out / look old etc. etc. I am....well... quite plump so I am always confused about what to wear gigglingsmiley And I so want to look nice and elegant and modern for all those facebook photos . so Please do help me Also what are the things I can shop for? what should my approximate budget be? I read someplace that lace fabric for sarees can be bought in singapore... any ideas? Regs, Lekshmi
Hi Lekshmi, Welcome to SG Since you are coming for a holiday, it might be a great idea to go with whatever casual is comfortable to you. As for being the odd one out, don't worry... SG has a good mix of Indians wearing salwars, kurthis, jeans, 3/4ths etc. I have no idea about lace fabric dear. Lets hope other ILites with knowledge reply on this. Enjoy your trip.
