Hi friends We will be moving to Singapore from US in a month or so. Can u pls suggest some good 2bhk apt for upto $2200 near central district where many Indians reside. Is there any good housing society with good transportation? Is it a must to pay 1/2 mth rent as agent commission for 1 yr lease? And what happens if I extend the lease after an yr. I have a 19 months old baby and I ll be on DP. I am a CA from India. Will I get a job in Singapore or do I need to do any course to get the job?
Hi Vanilla, Welcome to SG Transportation is pretty good throughout the Island. Yes 1/2 month rent as a agent commission is common. When u exend the lease, you will be paying another agent commission for that year, but sometimes the owners work it out by not involving the agent in the subsequent years, but that totally depends on the owner. I am not sure about practicing as a CA. May be you can start applying and find out or may be write to MOM to clarify. All the Best!
