Hiiii Sarada, Viji and others,

Count me in to meet too.

I had gone through this thread, and recollect about someone commenting on Shiv Sagar. Recently, i had some very bad experience with them. (I used to buy from Kartika for many years, then shifted to shiv sagar, been using them since last two years). Last month, two carton of milk got completely spoiled and the lady there, kept promising to replace. Finally towards the end of the month..she quietly shoved my requests under the carpet and we ended up buying loose packets whenever we went to LI.

Yeah, I also heard about the shortage of Indian Rice. BTW, i buy my vegetables from Komala's vegetable stall which is next to Acchi Fruits & Vegetable stall.

Bye for now
Shoba.

Hi raji,

Not only the rice price has gone up almost all the groceries prices has gone up. Imagine, the price of 1Litre gingelly oil is S$ 8. 20, while 3 months ago, it was 4.50 only and 3 weeks ago, it was 6.50.

However, i have not stocked up rice for fear of small bugs, that will spoil the rice when we store it for long time.
How about you? (I think we shud start a seperate threat for the increased prices)

Hi Shoba

Welcome to the party @sarada's. Thanks for stepping into this tread and your input.

As you mentioned, the delivery stores all do the same thing. Very good at the beginning then slowly the standard of goods drops. That is the reason I keep changing the shops, since the prices are almost the same everywhere.
Hope she changes new milk cartons soon.
