    I opened my account with my DP card 1 year ago, then also the minimum balance was SGD 500 for DBS.

    So I had a similar query. I found out about Yes Bank's remittance services in Singapore then. They also give you 40 paise extra on SGD exchange rates. You will get more information on their website - [FONT=Arial, sans-serif]bit dot ly/H5PCl8
