    I am new to this web and still not sure how to get around in this web and hope this message gets everyone. I am looking for indian classical dance centre here in Dubai. Could you please tell me if there is one.

    Dear Usha,

    Hope you are fine. I hope this message gets you. I live in Old Town Burj Dubai and could you advise the nearest available Bharathanatyam Dance Teacher. I am brain dead and dont have much friends to mix around here. I had a terrible year last year after the lost of my youngest sister and still could not get over it. This is why I want to occupy my time to be involve in something. Im new to Dubai about 4 months now. Hope I could get to meet more friends.

    There is classical dance institute in Karama,name is Kalagramam.It is good .But i think it is little far away for u.They r providing transportation also.U can try there.

    I know of a private dance teacher (Kalakshetra trained) who conducts classes in Gardens. Will be closer to your place? Then I can pm you her contact details.
    I would not suggest Kalagramam..

    I came to know recently that the teacher I had in mind is not taking classes in Gardens. I will keep my eyes and ears open and let you know of anyone else taking classes.
