Residence visa renewal linked to tenancy contract in Sharjah

What do you think about the new visa rule in Sharjah that the new regulation started in august month according to which applicants of family visa should produce attested copies of tenancy contracts in their own names of in a close relative's name.
it seems it is to stop practice of illegal shared accommodation and to ensure that only those who can afford to house their families in decent accommodations are given the residency permits.
Those living in company accommodations can also submit tenancy contracts in their employer's name.
Will this affect the people coming to live in sharjah as even the traffic and cost of living is going up.

iam keerthi residing in sharja with my hubby....Even iam shocked when i heard about this... Don't know what those peopple who live in sharing accomadation will do, if they r in need of renewal/apply of their visa's... it clearly shows that this law is to restrict the people rushing into sharja to reside...! Also the flat rates are going high day by day in an unexpected range.......

We NRI people mainly come here to earn and SAVE... but now the situation seems to be like... earn and leave the money here only for accomadation and other primary expenses... !... what will be the real solution for this ..really can't predict..?...
