Moving to Al-Khobar or Dammam
Hi,
I am discussing a job opportunity in Saudi. My office will be located in Dammam. I am married with 2 kids.
If some one can help me with pointwise response below, I will be deeply thankful. (Need a frank feedback & advise.)
1. As an Indian, which location would be best? Al-Khobar or Dammam?
2. What kind of restrictions are there for women?
3. After what age for girls, the restrictions above will be applicable?
4. Does women need to cover only head or entire face?
5. These restrictions are applicable in what kind of places like compound/malls/theaters/gardens etc?
6. What kind of activity places are available in AlKhobar / Dammam for Kids and Housewives?
7. Can Indian women work in Saudi and what are restrictions? What kind of job opportunities available for Indian women in Al-Khobar / Dammam?
8. What is the quality of education in Al-Khobar / Dammam? Indian school is available in which location?
9. What are the typical monthly expenses for family of four -
- House Rent - 2BHK Apartment or Villa
- Schooling expenses per kid (My kids are 7 & 4 yrs old)
- Utility expenses like water, electricity, gas etc.
- Monthly internet charges
- Monthly avg grocery expense including fruits, meat, milk etc
10. Can you suggest some good componds in Al-Khobar / Dammam? Pls provide the link.
11. What kind of facilities available in typical compound? (Like swimming pool, playground, gardens, theaters. malls etc)
Thanks and regards
