can dependent get job in saudi arabia?

My Husband got selected in jajan University as a lecturer, I got dependent visa. Actually i am working in India as a software engineer . Can any body tell me may I get a job over there? And how secure that place for women...

yes a dependent can work in ksa but status will be as local hire but ladies all allowed to work in hospitals and schools only and in some places in banks we find software engineers working in schools teaching higher classes. i came on family dep visa but working as local hire in a hosptal as accountant .once u land in ksa u can search for jobs . can u tell me which place u r going to live.
iam also frm hyd and my husband is a doctor and we live in khobar . i got a job immly after i landed. i heard now a day some big companies are allowing ladies to work but its very rare

m not aware of Riyad or Jeddah..but ther's a lil scope in dammam..cuz i jus came accross a homoeopath doc from ind..thoug the scope ho homeo is not much as the local and other arab expacts dun belive..cuz it needs lot of patiens and time for result..but ther is scope n u'll get a job for it INSHALLAH!
