Cost of living in Riyadh

Dear All,
I got a job offer in King Saud University (KSU). I am going to start my job in december 2009.
I have couple of questions about housing near KSU.
1. Is there any Indian community near KSU.
2. What is cost of living in riyadh
3. I got a jr. facult position and they offered 8000 riyal per month. Is it enough to live there and how much we can save from that!.
4. Can I buy a house there!, if yes, how much cost,
5. If buy a new or used car how much cost.

Please reply with full details is really appreciate.
