Talking Re: Any one from Saudi Arabia?

Hi Priya,

How are you and your naughty son? how old is he? My sweet to him.

Here I want to tell you one thing. You told that it is boring in Saudi. But what I used to say you know. It is a gift to all of us who are living in Saudi. In India we have to run,run and run for everything, From the morning to evening. Think of India for a while, from the morning you have to depend on somebody say for milk, news paper, gas, veg. flower and big thing is servant etc., if they come a bit late, we get upset and the whole day everything will go wrong. same thing with power cut. (even in Bangalore we have this problem.) internet cut, phone cut the list will be very big. And the very big problem is dust. Here in khobar I dont see dust in houses.

But you see here, we can plan our daily routine, with out any problem. we can spend the whole day with our loving husband and son/daughter.You can do or you can continue your extra curricular activities what ever you wanted to do when you were young. You can study, you can spend time for yourself and you can spend the whole day with your family and only with your family. Who will get this opportunity? we are blessed I think. In this mechanical world, we got this only because of we blessed by God. So use it. teach your child some small raims, small slokas and tell about your family members and talk with him. Really you will start enjoying Saudi stay.

Sorry I wrote a big letter to you. Take care. This is purely my view. dont mistake me.

Yes Madhu,

I too love this place. quite and calm life style. But what is your problem being a vegetarian? we are also vegetarians only. No problem for us. May I know what is your problem?

Hi Priya,

Nice to see your mail. mm... as you said no temples and Libraries. And we must wear abbaya. But some how I like that dress. Even with nighty I will go to JubailNo need to dress up while going out.

So nice to hear about your son. yes yes he is the bose for you. Other wise we can say him as a ring master?my sweet to him. God Bless Him!

we have to pull on here like this only. I will think of ladies who are staying in India, whose husbands are working here. So we are far far better than them. correct?

Hi Krishnamma,

nice to know that there r more ILites here in our place.

I liked the one that u mentioned about Abbaya......that u can go out in ur nighties....
Initially I hesitated, but recently when I had to accompany my DH to a nearby shop, I went there in that dress.....I felt odd and stated looking at other ladies' leg to make out if they too would have come like me...in their nightie...just to convince myself that I m not doing anything wrong....

When I came to Saudi last here for the first time, I brought loads of salwar kameezes and saris. Now when I went to India I took all that and dumped it at home. I came with extra number of night dresses.

Yes, Saudi has its own advantages....

Bye

Dear Friends,

Thinking that I was the only one who goes out with nighties inside the abaya often.but there are many people to accompany now..

Also I love to wear abaya now... No need to adjust our saree then and there..No need to pull the falling dupatta , no need of buying costly churithars, and no need to be very cautious on your dress..

Above all these , When I was in vacation in India, without abaya, I felt that I was missing something in my dressing.

For this reason I love Saudi Arabia....

regards,
Pinky.

Hi Pinky,

You toooooooooo first I also felt like saraswathi, then my "Mami" who is living for more than 20 years in Saudi told me this secret and I followed her. Now I came to know how many are following this?

Once we went to My sister's place, Madurai and we planned to go to Lord Meenakashi temple, all are getting ready except me. And my sister who is watching me asked me "why you are like this, it is getting late, go and dress up yourself." I replied her very cool , " dont worry I will wear Black. " That is all. All laughed at me. Then only I realized that I am in India, and I went to change my lovely nighty.
