Hello ,
Thanks for the informative post.
I have not been on for sometime... coz my wife reached riyadh and we were busy shopping.
I lost 3 kgs simply shopping ,not to count the lightness on my wallet :)
Actually, My wife has started to cook well, though she says a little slow.
Just like fish and water... I think she has an instinct for this. And I tried and failed so many times...
She cook a dish for the first time and lo it turns out well... (but am putting down this to my afection for her and also as a motivation)
Currently , am busy coaxing her to get online on Indusladies...hope she gets on it soon.
I really am quite fortunate to bump into this website and ofcourse you sister, its been wonderful goin through the various posts...on various topics.
I guess there is no such thing anymore as a man's thing or a woman's things.....so this website is really informative for someone like me...
Yes, you are right about all kids learning cooking ..it is so much healthy than eating outside... I wish I had met you sister...when I was in my teens

to learn cooking..
Keep your posts on...

So from 9th standard to 12th ( which is the right time to learn cooking) the parents are doing all the jobs for the girls and ask them to just read and get good marks. Even after entering in B.E or degree these girls don’t want to learn cooking and after marriage they are struggling. That too if the migrate to other counties........... they are struggling for each and everything. At least these girls must learn cooking after completing their studies, or at least after the 'engagement'. ( you can ask your wife to learn some recipes from her mother, so that she can come and cook good food for you. Just small suggestion) Even for boys, when they want to work in abroad, I advice them to cook on their own. That too, if you are a vegetarian, it is a must to know cooking. no need to cook for a Marriage at least must know to manage the show. rite? ( this is my humble opinion) That is why I started teaching cooking to Krish after his 12th exams. At that time I was suffering from my back pain and took almost 1 year bed rest. So he started cooking and also took care of me in India. so sweet of him. That 3 months to 4 months gap before entering to the college is a 'boon' for these boys and girls to learn cooking. But I dont know many girls dont like cooking. I wonder about that. You know, Now Krishna can cook not only for him he can cook a meal for more than 10 people When I logged in for the first time in this site I saw many young girls are asking so many questions about cooking so I started posting all my recipes and You know I started one thread as 'Kitchen tips for newly married and settled abroad'. So no need to get embarrassment. Just go through it. you will get some idea about cooking and maintain kitchen. Sorry very long post. good that you are making maggi and egg.
