Hello every one, My name is Pallavi, i will be moving to alkhobar in October this year. I have two kids 5and 2 yr olds. My husband has been in the city for a few months now. I really needed some help on the following:- 1) What Items should i carry from India (kitchen utensils/clothes winter/ linen) 2) We will take an apartment, which area has the highest Indian population. 3) Good Schools .....those focusing on education and a nice clean play school. 4) what is the cost of a decent gym or swimming pool. I am looking forward to some useful guidances for you all. Thank you for your time regards Pallavi
Hi Pallavi I have been in khobar for a couple of years, but moved to Dammam now.. Well, no need to worry about the things.. You will get almost everything here, though it may be a little expensive. There are n number of small and big Indian shops. Try to get a pack of all basic medicines for kids and for you. There will be more expats (Indians, Pakistanis..) near Ladies market, near Pakistani school For Indians , I've heard Indian International School in Rakah to be good..
Thank you Deepa .....nice to see some one replay to my post. I am at Alkhobar now its been 2 days .... if you want you can pm me your number, I will get my number today max by tomorrow. Thanks again for your kind words....they were helpful. regards Pallavi

Hi All, Very happy to see some activity in the Al Khobar thread. I was wondering if you all know about any Yoga classes or fitness in the Al Khobar area? A personal trainer who can come home to train would also be great! I see there are some old threads in Indus ladies about this - but I have received no replies when I contacted all of them - both through the thread and through private messages. Thank you for your help! Best regards, alady
