Dear Mr.Paldey,
Nice to hear that you plan to join Zamil. This is a big group having different divisions based on their type of steel business.
If the salary what you mentioned is basic then you may be entitled to get house rent and I hope it will be 3 or 4 basics per annum depending on the company's policy and also transport allowance. You can find a suitable accommdation for about SR 15000 per annum as rent. Other expenses will not be more than 40-50% of your salary. Hence I feel you must be able save up to SR 2500 comfortably.
If you need more information please do contact me.
All the best.
Sundar

Hello All,

Am new to this forum.

Self and my husband will be moving to al khubar soon. Would like to know the following information

1) Cost of living in al khubar - groceries ,vegetable, gas , milk, transportation etc.

2) Furnished indian compound details with 1bk or 2 bk apartment in compounds. How much do they cost ?? What facilities will be there ? We are looking for good ones but not ver costly.

3) Unfurnished compound details , how much they cost for 1bk / 2bk.

4) In case, need to purchase furnitures , what will be the cost ? Will second hand furnitures available ?

5) Purchase of car - how much it will cost ?? basic model car.

It would be really great if I get response for the above queries.

Looking forward for your replies.

Thanks,

Hello Paldey sir,

My personal experience....I landed in Saudi, exactly 2 months after my Husband's arrival here.

Once you come here, after your medicals, you will have to wait for your Iqama (residence permit) to be issued..It could take about month or so. After that you can immediately apply for your wife's visa.
My DH got my visa the same day he submitted the papers/documents for the same.

All the best .

Bye
