Need some info abt Doha

Hi friends.

Myself new to this site. Need some info abt Cost of living in Doha.

1) Minimum rent of small (studio) apartments ( fully furnished) in and around Airport Road in Doha.

Pls note, Even though we checked in Qatarliving.com, information from anyone presently residing in Doha or know abt this place will be appreciated.

2) Some cotact details of Real Estate Agents in Doha.

3) Approximate expense ( Inclusive of house rent, grocery, commutation etc) for a 2 member family.

I understand it depends on our lifestyle, but still would like to know the approximate for a reasonalby decent living there.)

4) I will be accomapying my husband with on dependent Visa. Is it possible to search for a job with this status ? What I mean is, can I search for a job with dependent Visa and then get it changed to Work Permit ( as in many other countries) ?

As of now n Doha the house rents r coming down, but as of i know airport road i have a frend of mine just recently moved to a 3 bedroom for 6500QR(sorry this s all the info i know 4 now).

u can still be under ur husband sponsor & work for any company u wish instead of getting in to company sponsor as u cannot just like that quit the job if ur n company sponsor.

an approx of 12 to 15 qr will be enough to live a good life with some savings.

Car loan: 1.5k upwards - depends what you buy.

Maint. / Car Ins. / Yearly Registration: 0.5k (Annual / 12)

Vacation: 1k (Annual / 12)

Insurance / Savings: Your choice - but a must (PRESENT LIFE STYLE NOT AT THE EXPENSE OF FUTURE COMPROMISES)
