Need your views

Hi friends,

Please share your experience & views on this. My son in 3 yrs old. He s already going to baby care where he stays from morning 7.30 to evening 5.30 as I am working in Ummbab which is 90kms out of Doha. We intially planned to put him in school but later we had a Dilemma bcos of transportation & his food arrangemnts for him from his school again to baby care & from there to home. I am really not sure how it will work. I would like to get ideas from u friends on this & if any of u r exp the same scenario. Waiting your reply at the earliest.

working and managing home could really be challenging .Since the vacations are approaching;you could keep some person from india.Since u both are working guess u can afford this for 1-2 years atleast till the child can take care of himself.Alternatively u could find some Indian housewife or a very good friend in ur building itself who would like to take care of ur little one for some good amount of money.(Do not take help for free; it gives room for talk only).In this way you can rest assured and be at peace within yourself for sometime at least.take care and all the best

Thanks for views, but to get a maid visa here s a tough time. I would rather stretch myself for that. We stay in villa and as far as I see here people r very busy with their routine we dont people to even talk for sometime. I made up my mind to put to my son in school next year till then he will be n the day care as usaual. Thanks anyways & stay in touch.

Thanks for your views. Its too expensive to have a housemaid here & to take a housemaid visa is all the more headache. I prefer to stretch myself rather doing that. I liv in a villa & as far as i see here people r too busy to even chat for few minute. I hardly even see my nieghbour outside. Anyways i have decided to put my son n school next yr. Thanks & stay in touch.

Yes priya.I agree with you.Better to put him next year till u find a suitable alternative.Alternatively; i hope i can take this liberty to tell you something from my experiences of life. If u are not working for a financial problem or u intend to stay put in qatar for a number of years; it would be wise to go for your second child and plan ur family if both of you want it.Leaving the job to set up ur family seems to be a wiser decision to me.Guess; i have learnt this over the years.

Thank u so much for ur concern. Just bcos u took so much concern on me im telling u this. Ur right we too planned it that way but unfortunately I had a miscarriage last month when it was 12 weeks. so as of now i just going by the wind. lets see. Anyways thanks a lot. I remeber seeing ur previous mails that ur going to shift to Qatar if im right. So stay in touch. Lets meet.
