Life for Indians in Qatar

Life for Indians in Qatar is not very difficult. We get almost all the things which we get in India except for our special relatives and friends. For me, after marriage I moved to Delhi from Chennai. I stayed in Delhi for 6 years made new friends there and thus started a new life. It is the same for me to stay in Doha. Once your friends circle is there you will enjoy in Qatar. I miss proper temples though!

Favourite places to shop and eat

Groceries and vegies - FFC, Furnitures - Home centre, Clothes for kids - Baby Shop, Max, H & M, For me - Splash, H & M, FFC(kalakshetra), Max
Books - Jarir book store and Virgin
Other Items - Al Rawnaq, Careefour, LULU

Eating out ....that's our favourite hobby(We are vegeterians). I like Aryas, Bhukara, Tanjore, Tandoor, Pizzahut, Alishaan,Garden Hyderabadi, both indian resturants at ramada. We also go to Italian resturants. haven't tried aasha's at villagio.
