life in Stockholm

Hi there. I am Indian born in South Africa I currently living in Durban were I work in Laser/Beauty Clinic. I am in a realtionship with a Swedish man and plan on moving to Sweden later this year and wonder if you have any advise for me regards intergration, language, job opportutnities, life in generally for an immigrant in Sweden.

I have lived in the UK and the Seychelles so I embrace change. I visited Sweden (Karlstad) in the summer some years ago on holiday and loved it. I returned this winter to meet my boyfriend's family and while I enjoyed it immensly, I had a difficulty time adjusting to the cold weather and more especially life in Stockholm. I know from past expriences that the Swede's are rather quite and private but I found Stockholm especially so and am now concerned as to how I will cope and what support I can seek. any advise? look forward to hearing about your experience's. I have been staying in stockholm for a year plus now and still find hard coping in this city.I am indian but have stayed in kuwait,US,Canada.I guess
