Anupama ,

You can contact recruitment consultants or post your resume in a job seach web site which are the two best ways to search for a job.You may also send your resume to your friends so that they may refer you via their referral program.

Regarding the qualifications some of the companies ask for local certifications in finance but it also depends on your experience. If you are highly experienced in your field and have worked in MNCs then they might be lenient and just look at your domain expertise and field experience.

All the best and any further queries please feel free to drop a post.Hope some other Ilites with MBA in finance will answer your queries in a better manner.

Dear All,

Even i am facing the same problem. I am did my MBA in HRM. Most of the employers in this country ask for Uk work Experience.

Are'll facing the same problem?

Do write to me when you find time.

Best regards,

Vimala,

It is true that most of them ask for UK experience.

Initially I would advise you to compromise on compensation and show your keen interest in the role if you really like it.

Getting a break is lil tough and once you have achieved it, you can earn UK experience.

The job market is very competitive nowadays with the ecomonic downturn.Wish you all the best .

Hi Vimala,

Most of the companies count only UK work experience, as far as my experience in job search goes.

I did MBA in Finance and have 2 years of financial experience in the analysis of US/UK companies.

I didn't got any interview call, though i admit i haven't been very active in job search initially.

As Sabitha has mentioned in the earlier post that we can go to recruitment consultants or get referred by friends or known people. But that doesn't seem to work.

Sabitha, pls advice what should we do to get interview calls?.. They mostly consider either their accounts/finance degrees or sales experience.

It would be really helpful if our friends who have been in our situation once, could guide us..

Thanks and Regards,

Anupama
