We lived in France a little less than a year. I'm actually surprised about your experience. Because I had a miscarriage while there and I went directly to a gyn and not through a GP. Even some friends (my husband did his MBA there) who had children could see a paediatrician directly without any reference. I have heard worst stories about NHS rules from my friends in London:( Latha |
Hi Latha
so you can teach me german then?
when i was living in France i could go directly to see a specialist but it's been now 10 years i left it but i still have my brothers and uncles in France.
i was complaining about the NHS here to my brother when he came to visit me, he said the medical system had changed also in France.
it's a nightmare the NHS with the waiting list....you can nearly die here...
take care
