 What are the visa rules for dependents in UK? Hi friends, Can someone tell me whether dependents of working visa holders can work in UK? I have heard unlike US where H4 visa holders cannot work , in UK they are allowed to work. Is that right? What are the prospects of getting a job if one has a Master's degree with a non-technical background in UK? Thanks      |

| Re: What are the visa rules for dependents in UK? hi,if the partner is work permt holder than the other partner can work but it is preferable to have atleast visa valid for a year.A person with no tech masters can get a job but it can be more in stores or malls as working in non tech area requires a individuals knowledge abt. british accent. and little awareness abt. area.for a non tech or non IT position(to be specific)employers prefer candidates from UK only.
