| Hi friends, Can someone tell me whether dependents of working visa holders can work in UK? I have heard unlike US where H4 visa holders cannot work , in UK they are allowed to work. Is that right? What are the prospects of getting a job if one has a Master's degree with a non-technical background in UK? Thanks |

| hi,if the partner is work permt holder than the other partner can work but it is preferable to have atleast visa valid for a year.A person with no tech masters can get a job but it can be more in stores or malls as working in non tech area requires a individuals knowledge abt. british accent. and little awareness abt. area.for a non tech or non IT position(to be specific)employers prefer candidates from UK only.
