Default Visiting UK and Europe

I am going to be in London in December and want to do a tour of Europe in the 10-12 days that I have there. This is my first time there and don’t have any relatives there to really get much info on planning this trip.

What is the best way to get around Europe in the limited time I have to some of the top spots? I have looked at some tour packages but most of them are 15-20 days long, which I do not have. The other thing about these packages is that they make you fly from US to the origin of the tour and fly you out to US from the last stop in the tour. This may not work for me. My other option is to go on my own but have not done much research into that. Also on my own, I may not be utilizing my time appropriately compared to the guided tour option.

Can anyone provide some names of the local traveling agencies that you have worked with or know about? I will checkout any packages they have that meet my needs as I don’t want to go through the hassle of planning and taking care of lodging, transportation, food, etc on my own. Any other suggestions/tips please send them my way.

Thanks a bunch!!

i have just recently joined the site so could not get to u earlier. I live in Uk and the best tour operator who can take u around is startours.co.uk. They are fantastic
,they give u excellent , hot indian food and 5 star treatment. I have not been to europe with them but have gone to Egypt and i should say it was a mind blowing trip with excellent care and guide. But about europe my friend has been and they loved it.Hope this is useful to u.
